The primary purpose of this website is to establish an online presence and serve as a platform for information sharing, interaction, and engagement with those seeking to support the autistic with an emphasis upon behavioral intervention strategies/supports and resources of those who also struggle with communication.
EVERYDAY TOOLS
Everyday Tools are strategies to assist with developing routines. Whether the routine replaces the former everyday schedule of a school day or developing a new daily schedule as things change. This page offers resources to help with this transition (i.e. schedules, token economies, Boardmaker activities, and the Easter Seals Toolkit).
ABOUT
Site History: This site emerged due to COVID-19 and schools being closed. This website has been developed to support the critical needs of our BIC students (that is any non-verbal, limited verbal ability, autistic student struggling with relating to fostering independence, self-control, and preservation of health).
The content herein is for students, their families, parents, and teachers. The content addresses three main facets: behavior, skills, and training as well as, provides resources and access to programs, content, and a network for our B.I.C. community.
Since schools have reopened, this website remains available for purpose establishing and supporting an online presence serving as a platform for information sharing, interaction, and engagement.
