B.I.C. TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Below are highlights, essentials, and/or resources, strategies, links, etc. the B.I.C. team has selected as additional supports. The contents are intended to assist and provide a little clarity amongst all the chaos stemming from COVID-2019.
The "Why" of Behavior
Sign languages (also known as signed languages) are languages that use the visual-manual modality to convey meaning. Below is a video where one parent has had to modify for his daughter. IMPORTANT: Keep in mind, whether an ASL sign or a modified sign for the student, both school and home need to know for consistency and functionality.
There are many videos found on YouTube addressing social skills, just search (example: social skills videos for children) and let the adventure begin.
